Aerial Extreme – Report

We organised our second major trip out this summer and took the group to the Trentham Estate in Stoke on Trent. For those that have not experienced Aerial Extreme those having a go a strapped into a harness and sent on an assault course up in the trees. Even though you are hooked up to safety lines it is hard work and a certain amount of bravery is needed, especially on the SToke course which is deemed to be the hardest of its type in the country.

As you can see from the photos below all participating had a fabulous time. There were a number who showed extreme bravery, quite a number conquered their fears and a VERY special mention must go to Meghan (who will also get one of our gold star awards for managing to finish the course). Ages ranged from 13 up to well over 50, they know who they are!

A huge word of thanks must go to the course and its staff. Becky, Matt (x2), Callum & Esther were fabulous with our group and a major amount of credit goes to them.

Once the course was finished, and those that went up in the trees had stretched out quite a number of sore muscles it was off to McDonald’s, Victoria Rd, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 2HX for food. Our thanks again go to management for service and discounts provided. The burgers, chips and ice cream all went down very well.
